
MISSION:
To help refine and strengthen aspiring Junior Lifeguards' swim skills through swim drills/workouts, stretching, and calisthenics to help them pass the Minimum Swim Safety Standard for their respective JG AGE GROUP and go into the summer with confidence.
JGBC Session 1 - Build the Fish - CONCLUDED
Session 1 of JG Boot Camp will involve 30 hours of core safety and swim instruction. JGBC also incorporates team-building activities (underwater hockey, modified H2O Polo, and more) to help create a fun environment where participants get stronger physically and mentally through play.
JGBC Session 2 - Build the Orca CONCLUDED
Session 2 of JG Boot Camp will consist of 7 classes, 10.5 hours of core swim instruction, calisthenics, and lessons at Kennedy Club Fitness. JG Boot Camp 2 will also include two beach orientation classes (1.5 hours) on Saturday, at Avila Beach.
The focus of Session 2 is to build endurance, speed, and strength. JGBC 2 will incorporate team-building activities (underwater hockey, modified H2O Polo, and more) to help create a fun environment where participants get stronger physically and mentally through play.
JGBC Session 3 - Orca Finishing School
Session 3 of JG Boot Camp will consist of 7 classes, 10.5 hours of core swim instruction, calisthenics, and lessons at Kennedy Club Fitness. The focus of Session 3 is to focus on speed, strength, and endurance.

Aspiring JGBC participants MUST BE AT LEAST 8 years old

MUST BE ABLE TO SWIM 2 lengths of a 25-yard pool WITHOUT STOPPING (stroke and technique are not critical).

Refund Policy: Full refund minus $120 until Friday, February 28th. NO REFUNDS after February 28th.
Dates: May 7 - May 30 Days: Monday/Wednesday Times: 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
*NOTE: We will be switching from Monday, May 26th, to Friday, May 30th
Location: Kennedy Club Fitness on Tank Farm Road.
